I was unsure about coming here, to be honest.  But I wanted to at least try it.  Ordered over the phone and picked up.  When I walked in, I felt the place was a bit dark and not well cared for, and the price of sushi is high for not a huge quantity of food.  But the people were friendly enough and the quality of food I received was great.

I ordered the 3 Amigos roll.  Super fresh, great taste and high quality food.  Only four pieces of sushi  but HUGE pieces so I did have to bite them in half, but every single ingredient put into the sushi roll was fresh and delicious.  I would have liked a little more food, but would order again.

    Good deal, quality and quantity.
Can be a little overly salty sashimi sometime even without soy sauce.

Quick easy spot for lunch. Easy to park. Service was fast and polite. They quickly serve you hot tea, thumb up for that.

Lunch special in bento box was good. They offer variety of meats, fish. you got option to pick sashimi of roll. Pretty good. Come with soup, salad.

I had Katsu and salmon sashimi. No complaint at all

This restaurant offers some of the freshest sushi I have had.  Their selection of udon is delicious.  The staff is very polite and attentive as well.  I do wish that their soda was fountain instead of cans, but who cares, it's all good

I have been at this restaurant at least once or twice before. It never left a positive or negative impression. I finally decided to visit again and I did so on the 21st of August. I now leave a review for the first time. We walked in at dinner time. The restaurant was empty and quiet. Our waiter took us to a table where we found menus. I looked at the options and the items that are listed include a variety of appetizers, udon, donburi, sushi, sashimi, bento and combination dishes. The pricing is somewhat on the high side (not cheap). I ordered 2 pieces of nigiri and I chose to try smoked salmon and chicken katsu. I also ordered a small bottle of Sapporo lager beer. The beer arrived first. Our waiter was professional. Unlike the majority of dummies that serve at tables, he brought the unopened bottle to the table and he opened it there in front of me: kudos to the man (that's the way you do it). As usual, a cold Sapporo just can't be beat. Its solid brewing and freshness is hard to match. A salad and a cup of miso soup arrived next. I gave the salad to my girlfriend and I dedicated myself to the soup which was good but not too salty or strong. My sushi followed within a few minutes. The preparation was somewhat mediocre because the rice was very small below the seafood (aside from not being very compacted). The result was that as soon as I tried to grab the nigiri, I can hold my own with hashi, the nigiri fell apart and it was impossible to hold the entire thing (let along eat it). I never had smoked salmon nigiri. It was good and it tasted fresh but the smokiness was subtle. The chicken katsu arrived later and it consisted of a generous portion of chicken cut in strips and breaded in panko. A small amount of semi-steamed vegetable was on the plate as well. The meat was good and mostly lean. It was also tasty. The dark red sauce was salty but the combination with the meat rendered the mix a little sweet. Our waiter was polite and professional. As I said, I have been here 2 or 3 times at this point. I am still not extremely impressed. Momoya Sushi gets 3 and 1/2 stars from me.
